About Us

With over 20 years experiencing providing services in the Tampa Bay area, we decided to start our own practice. We provide services to individuals and families that are experiencing any sort of set back. Together we will discuss what goals you want to accomplish and create "step by step" strategies to help you get there. No matter how big or small the goal, we all need assistance at times. Even if it is for a short period of time in order to get us back on our "feet." We are here to help you or anyone you know that just needs that "pick me up." By contacting us, you are "one step" closer to meeting your life goals.

Has over 10 years experience working with children and families in a variety of settings. These experiences include working with the Department of Juvenile Justice, being a case manager in Pinellas County, currently teaching students with special needs through Hillsborough County School District and working as an independent contracted therapist with The Children's Home, Inc.(CHI). As a therapist with CHI, working with children that have experienced trauma, helping parents understand their children's needs in order to be the best parent they can be, and resolve any conflicts individuals/families struggle with in order to live a more harmonious and productive life. As a teacher of primary students, work daily with children of all ages on developing coping skills in order to reduce their episodes of frustration and explosive behaviors. Most of these children have experienced trauma in their lives and are unable to verbalize their fears, experiences, and needs, therefore able to help them develop the skills they need. Educational background includes, obtaining Bachelors of Art in Psychology and Bachelors of Science in Criminology from The University of Tampa ('96-'00), Masters of Social Work from The University of South Florida ('07-'09) and currently working on my license to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and becoming a Certified Professional Coach.
